Mumme Tools today launched the Reno Bar, a new addition to the Company’s extensive range of quality hand tools.
The Reno Bar has a wide variety of applications for demolition and renovation projects, designed to fit either side of floor joists, wall batons and roof beams for easy lifting and removal of boards or plaster sheets. The integrated nail puller also reduces the bending action required if using a traditional wrecking bar or claw hammer.
“The Reno Bar is great for renovation or demolition work”, says Chris Mumme, product development manager. “It can be used for removing timber decking and floor boards with ease and can also be used for demolishing stud walls or dismantling pallets to recycle”.
The ergonomic design with spring alloy steel blade has finely ground edges to get into tight gaps, making demolition work easier and quicker. The wide, thin ends are also less likely to damage timbers when removing them for restoration.
The Reno Bar has been designed as an ergonomic, light-weight tool with a long handle at the optimum angle for working on flooring and walls. The unit is 1350mm long with 210mm tines spaced 140mm apart, and weighs 3.0 kg.
Shipments to hardware stores commenced this week, with the product available nationally.
