Mumme Tools – Crafted Tough Since 1936

Mumme Tools today unveiled a new look logo, tagline and refreshed packaging in response to the increasing sales momentum of their popular range of forged hand tools.

Established from humble beginnings in 1936 by the late Mr Bill Mumme and based in South Australia ever since, Mumme Tools manufactures and supplies over 500 items employing traditional methods, craftsmanship, and a hand-forged approach to deliver reliability and superior quality.

“Unlike many tools imported from neighbouring regions and bought on price, our locally made product offers a noticeably superior performance and end-user experience”, says Greg Lowe, Mumme Tools Managing Director. “The overwhelming majority of our range is proudly Australian Made, with the benefit of local know-how, responsiveness to customer needs and of course benefits to the economy through local employment”. Mr Lowe further adds “We take pride in the standards at our facility and our doors are always open for customers to come and see for themselves what sets us apart”.

The branding re-fresh will continue to emphasize the differences between locally made and imported tools, with promotional focus on the stories of the craftspeople who create individual Mumme brand tools as part of their livelihoods.

“Our new logo & tagline is cleaner, modern, with the various elements representing where we have come from as a business and where we are going”, says David Evans, Mumme Tools Marketing & Sales Manager. “Along with the new logo and promotional efforts, our new packaging has great shelf stand out and re-enforces the benefits of the products to our customers and their end users”.

Shipments to stores incorporating the refreshed packaging have commenced, with the product range continuing to be available nationally through all major industrial suppliers and selected retail hardware stores.
